Repairs in Finchfield

Getting an appliance fixed in Finchfield

Finchfield is a largely residential suburb on the western side of the city, and if your extended kitchen has a built-in oven at eye level, the fault is often easier to reach than it looks. Tell us what it is or isn’t doing and the engineer takes it from there.

Add your WV3 postcode and the make to the quote form to see the fixed labour price. It covers finding the fault and the repair work; any part is quoted separately and only ordered once you say yes.

When a repair isn’t worth it

The engineer tells you at the visit if replacing makes more sense than repairing. Any part is priced first and fitted only with your approval.

Worth weighing up

  • The repair quote against a comparable new appliance
  • Its age, and whether other parts are wearing
  • Whether parts are still made for the model

About Finchfield

Finchfield Library is on Whiteoak Drive, while Bantock House and Park occupy a substantial green space off Finchfield Road. The house, gardens and adjoining park provide a recognisable landmark between Finchfield and Merridale. Bantock House is now a museum run by the city council, with period rooms and displays on Wolverhampton’s history.

To the west, Finchfield gives way to Castlecroft and the Smestow Valley, and to the south it meets Merry Hill. Many of its streets are houses with driveways, so parking for the engineer is rarely a problem. Mention it if your road has a steep drive or a shared access lane.
