About Pelsall

Pelsall Common is a prominent open space beside the village, with its own conservation area alongside Old Pelsall. Further north, Pelsall North Common and Nest Common are local nature reserves accessed from Wood Lane. The village has WS3 addresses.

The Wyrley and Essington Canal winds around the village, and its towpath links Pelsall with Brownhills. Like much of this part of the borough, Pelsall grew with coal mining and ironworking in the nineteenth century before becoming a largely residential village. Bloxwich lies to the west and Rushall to the south.
