Repairs in Ashmore Park

Getting an appliance fixed in Ashmore Park

Ashmore Park was built from the mid-1950s as an overspill estate, with council-built houses, flats and bungalows. If your fridge freezer has stopped cooling, the engineer needs room to pull it forward and reach the back, so mention it if it is boxed in.

Add the fridge freezer’s make and your WV11 postcode to see the fixed labour price. You only share contact details once you’re happy with it. The engineer explains the fault, and any part is quoted before fitting.

Fridge freezer repair in Ashmore Park

Tell us whether both sections are warm or only one, and whether you can hear it running. Frost on the back wall of a frost-free freezer usually points to a defrost fault. Keep the doors closed to protect the food. Our fridge freezer repair guide has more.

About Ashmore Park

The Hub on Griffiths Drive brings Ashmore Park’s community centre, library and fitness facilities together. The park itself sits within the estate, near the border with Willenhall. It is a distinct part of the wider Wednesfield area, with WV11 addresses.

Wednesfield Urban District Council planned 1,500 homes here in 1954, and the first house opened in June 1955, with the shopping precinct following in 1958. The estate joined Wolverhampton when most of Wednesfield was incorporated in 1966. Essington lies just to the north, across the county boundary in South Staffordshire.
