Repairs in Pendeford

Getting an appliance fixed in Pendeford

Much of Pendeford’s housing dates from the late 1970s and early 1980s, and if your kitchen has since been refitted with integrated appliances, a built-in dishwasher hidden behind a cabinet door can be taken out, repaired and refitted without disturbing the rest of the kitchen.

Choose freestanding or built in when you price the job, add your WV8 or WV9 postcode and the fixed labour price appears, including removing and refitting an integrated machine. If a part is needed, you approve the cost before it is fitted.

  • Whether parts are still made for the model

About Pendeford

Much of Pendeford’s housing occupies land once used by Wolverhampton Aerodrome and the Boulton Paul aircraft factory. Canals border the neighbourhood and connect it with Oxley and Fordhouses. Dovecotes forms part of the wider Pendeford area and is included in our repair coverage.

The airfield closed on 31 December 1970, and the Pendeford estate was built on the site over the following decade, with a memorial to the airfield on one of its walls. Today the Shropshire Union Canal runs along its edge, with Pendeford Mill nature reserve close by. If your home has shared parking or a footpath-only front door, mention it when you book.
